Apologies - this event is now fully booked! Please sign up to be added to the guest list in case any spaces become available closer to the time. Many thanks.

womenintechnology and Accenture would like to invite you to an evening event on Thursday 18th March at 6pm.

"Step up: Owning your career as a woman in technology" is kindly being co-hosted by Accenture at their offices at 30 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3BD which is within easy walking distance of both Monument and Bank underground stations.

The keynote speaker for the evening will be Dr Suzanne Doyle-Morris,  Director of Doyle Morris Coaching and Development, an organisation that works to help companies retain and develop their valuable, well-trained female executives, particularly those in traditionally male-dominated fields. Suzanne has a background in women's issues including a PhD from Cambridge University that explored the experiences of successful women in male-dominated fields.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to get to the top – with your sense of humour and integrity intact. Dr Doyle-Morris, author of  “Beyond the Boys’ Club: Achieving Career Success as a Woman Working in a Male Dominated Field" will discuss the strategies used by successful senior women to advance their careers in traditionally male-dominated fields. Her interactive presentation will feature inspirational stories and tangible tips which guarantees you will absorb immediate 'take-aways' to put into practice. In particular Suzanne will address “going for broke” and the risks you can’t afford to pass up, the “sticky art of self-promotion” and “cashing in your chips” to both give and get the opportunities that will make the difference to your career.

After Suzanne's presentation there will be a panel Q&A session with Suzanne as well as representatives from Accenture.

The Q&A will be followed by an opportunity to network over drinks and canapés with our speakers as well as Accenture employees. If you are interested in potentially working for Accenture, more information about their current open roles can be found here or here: http://www.womenintechnology.co.uk/accenture

We hope you would like to join us on Thursday 18th March - the event is free to attend and as we anticipate a high demand for a limited number of places, please sign up early to avoid disappointment - many thanks!

Thanks so much!
